Charity & Simon had an amazing informal wedding celebration, held at Charity’s parent’s house in Norfolk. Here is a selection of their Festival Wedding photography.

“There’ll be a a couple of teepee tents and a few outdoor party games”. That’s what Charity explained to me when I met up with her and Simon for their pre-wedding shoot. Well, I think it’s fair to say she under-played it somewhat! I was blown away when I turned up. Charity, her parents, some friends, and most of the local village it seemed, had all played a part in the day. So many people had given up so much time to help convert a beautiful home, garden and barn, into a fantastic festival venue.

Some things were hired – the teepees, some swingboats, the High Striker strongman game. But everything else was handmade. From the bunting that lined the hedges, to the giant welcome arch and the beautiful floral decorations. But also the garden games – crazy golf and personalised Guess Who; the table plan and decorations; and even the whisky table. Not to forget the groom’s part in all of this. He had definitely ben the driving force in converting part of a barn into a Liverpool FC-themed pub!

The day itself was equally amazing. I arrived to find Charity still putting their homemade flower decorations around the garden. And yet perfectly relaxed.

The church service that followed, at St Nicholas Church, in Bracon Ash, was really personal, and full of laughter (as well as love). And the first I’ve seen to include a gift from the church to the happy couple – being a pair of running shoes!

Afterwards Charity & Simon took some time out for a little ride in a very grand green Bentley (courtesy of a friend from the village). We found time here for a short photo opportunity at the local park, where a young girl picked out Charity being a princess!

Meanwhile, their guests had returned to the house to get the party started. On welcoming the bride and groom back, the day continued in this vein. It was totally relaxed, informal, and full of love and laughter throughout. Never more so than for the speeches – all of which had the guests in tears, for both emotional responses!

Below is just a small selection of Charity & Simon’s ‘Festival Wedding’ photography.
