Penny and Dan had a small Hertford County Hall wedding. Afterwards they and their guests celebrated at local restaurant Lussmans. It was a small, intimate affair and so discussed with me about a limited amount of time for the photography. This is something I provide regularly - for those who don't necessarily want a photographer there all day, but would like to capture some memories from the ceremony and get some nice photos with their friends and family. And of course, of themselves on the day they became husband and wife.
I love a Hertford County Hall wedding. The ceremony is always relaxed but emotional. There is a lovely courtyard outside from some photos. And the arches there are a photographer's dream - especially since they provide such a great photography location regardless of the weather.
This was useful for Penny & Dan's big day. we were lucky to get some sunshine immediately after the ceremony. Enough time for some confetti celebrations, toasting the happy couple, and some of the group photos. As the rain started to fall, we moved over to the arches. Here we got a different style for the remaining group photos, which I really like. It is always nice to mix up the group photos a little.
Then, as their guests headed down to Lussmans, Penny and Dan remained with me for some lovely photos themselves in the arches. As the sun decided to return, there was just time to capture a few more in the courtyard before they left me to go and meet back up with their guests.
Below is just a selection of the photos from the 3 hours I was with Penny & Dan.
